More than just a meal…
Since 1971, Community Mobile Meals of Sarasota County, Inc. has provided over
3 million hot nourishing meals to elderly and disabled persons who are unable
to provide meals for themselves. Age is not a factor for those needing our
services.
Over the past 29 years, our organization has increased in size by several
hundred volunteers. Our delivery routes have grown from 7 to 29 routes
within the Sarasota area. And, our drivers deliver over 540 meals daily six
days every week.
We attribute our success to the caring and hard working volunteers involved
in the day to day operations of our organization.
